101 - Asbestos Worker Training, Initial
Initial training for workers involved with the abatement of asbestos, for asbestos project monitors, and for consultants. This course is approved by Missouri and Illinois and meets the training requirements of the AHERA regulation. The course agenda includes basic level instruction including hands-on training to cover the following topics: asbestos in historical perspective; asbestos types; uses and applications; health effects and medical surveillance requirements; current state and federal regulations; air monitoring and sampling; bulk sampling and analysis; worker protection equipment; negative pressure systems; glove bag removal; establishing high integrity asbestos abatement work areas and proper abatement practices and procedures.

102 - Asbestos Worker Training, Refresher
Annual refresher training for asbestos abatement workers including review of topics originally presented in Course 101. This course features a presentation of new developments in government regulations, state-of-the-art work practices and asbestos abatement industry standards. Course meets Missouri and Illinois requirements for annual refresher training.

103 - Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Training, Initial
Initial training for persons who supervise asbestos work site activities. In addition to the core topics of the Asbestos Worker course, this course features advanced topics for site supervision, including: effective supervision techniques; specifications and contract documents; regulatory recordkeeping; regulatory review for supervisors; legal issues; insurance and bonding; supervision of abatement work site activities. This course is approved by Missouri and Illinois and meets the requirements of the AHERA regulation.

104 - Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Training, Refresher
Annual refresher training for asbestos abatement contractors and supervisors including a review of topics originally presented in Course 103. 105 - Asbestos Inspector Training, Initial
Initial training for persons involved in the inspection of buildings for the presence of asbestos-containing materials, random sampling and analysis of suspect materials and preparation of site inspection reports documenting the presence of asbestos. This course is approved by Missouri and Illinois and meets the training requirements of the AHERA regulation. The course agenda includes: asbestos types, uses and applications; role of inspectors; health effects and medical surveillance requirements; current federal and state regulations; bulk sampling of asbestos; site inspection preparation, conduction and documentation; legal issues; building systems; government regulations; and personal protection equipment.

106 - Asbestos Inspector Training, Refresher
Annual refresher training for asbestos site inspectors including a review of topics originally presented in Course 105. Course meets Missouri and Illinois requirements for annual refresher training.

107 - Asbestos Management Planner Training, Initial
Initial training for persons who will be responsible for the study of site inspection reports, the assessment of hazards, and the development of a management plan for control of asbestos in a building. This course is approved by Missouri and Illinois and meets the training requirements of the AHERA regulation. The course agenda includes: evaluation and selection of control options; role of management planner; legal issues; recordkeeping; current federal and state regulations; developing an operations and maintenance plan; and cost estimation.

The course agenda includes: asbestos types, uses and applications; role of project designers; health effects and medical surveillance requirements; current federal and state regulations; abatement methods; development of specifications and contract documents; conduction and documentation; legal issues; replacement materials; and personal protection equipment.
