24 Hour HAZWOPER
24 Hour HAZWOPER is designed for waste-site workers with limited duties or emergency responders. This course will prepare personnel for specific on-site training. Approximately one-third of the course involves drills and exercises requiring hands-on participation, including the use of respirators and other personal protective equipment. Emphasis is given to industrial emergency response situations. Take this course on-line at no extra cost.

Sampling Hazardous Materials
Sampling hazardous materials has participants developing practical skills for sampling hazardous materials while meeting regulatory requirements for sampling activities. Students will learn to research unknown substances, develop sampling plans, prepare appropriate quality control / quality assurance documents, and select appropriate equipment. In addition, participants will be introduced to procedures for the safe collection, packaging, storage, and transport of hazardous material samples. Sample collection from a variety of media will be covered, including air, water, soil, drums / tanks, piles, wells.
