Identifying and Controlling Atmospheric Hazards in Non-Industrial Buildings

Identifying and Controlling Atmospheric Hazards in Non-Industrial Buildings

Many buildings contain environmental hazards that adversely influence the quality of indoor air, and should be controlled to protect the health of the occupants. This course will identify hazards of concern in public and private facilities and present methods for the assessment and control of these hazards. Emphasis will be placed on readily implemented control practices that can help reduce the incidence of building-related illnesses and Sick Building Syndrome. Participants will also receive an overview of applicable regulatory requirements. This course is strongly recommended for school administrators, facility engineers and building supervisors or others with responsibility for the health and well being of building occupants.
